Urban Angels Circus Community & Education Workshops

Urban Angels Circus provide professional performers to lead workshops in static trapeze, aerial hoop and other aerial skills in Leeds. We also teach tightwire and acrobalance, (from pairs balancing, up to human pyramids) and can supply teachers of the more traditional skills such as clowning, juggling and hula hoop.

These skills can be used as a one off drop in workshop on our mobile aerial rig at events and festivals developing physical skills and confidence.

Alternatively, aerial skills can be used as part of a longer project in educational or community settings combining circus skills with dance or drama to create extraordinary themed performances that can be used as part of the curriculum.

In addition to the physical skills that young people learn. The projects use aerial skills as a form of self development and stress the importance of teamwork and mutual support in the teaching environment.
